大動脈二尖弁(BAV)は、大動脈に異常な血流環境が誘発されるため大動脈拡張(AD)進行の主要な危険因子です。
BAVの違いによって誘発されるADの発症による違いは不明なままです。
この研究の目的は、BAVの違いによって誘発されるADの潜在的な位置を評価することです。
結果としてBAVの形態によって大動脈の血行動態に影響を及ぼし、BAVに関連する異常な血流がADに関与している可能性があると報告されています。
