This internship contributed to my professional development and career growth by providing me with valuable experience in a professional office setting, something I haven’t experienced before. During my internship, I acquired several valuable skills and knowledge. The most important skill I learned is how to use Blender for 3D modeling. Additionally, I gained experience in marketing and content creation within a professional setting. My scientific knowledge also expanded and I learned new terminology, which helped me better understand the intersection between technology and medicine.

The company culture and work environment for interns is very friendly and welcoming, creating a safe space. Everyone is inviting and always willing to help when needed. The hard-working and focused nature of the company contributes to a pleasant and productive work environment that I really enjoyed.

Q: What were some of the most challenging aspects of your internship, and how did you overcome them?
I think that some of the most challenging aspects of my internship included adjusting to work life in Japan while balancing my classes and exploring the country. Learning to use the Blender software was also quite challenging, but ultimately, it was a rewarding experience. To overcome these challenges, I focused on managing my time effectively and seeking help when needed, which allowed me to adapt to this new environment.

The internship exceeded my expectations due to the overwhelmingly positive work environment. Initially, I was concerned about the language barrier and was worried I wouldn’t be able to efficiently communicate to all coworkers, but everyone, regardless of the language they spoke, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and inviting. This supportive atmosphere made my experience even more enriching and enjoyable.

Q: Can you share an example of a project or task you worked on that had a significant impact on the company?
One project I thought that had a significant impact on the company was the video content creation initiative that I worked on with other interns as a team. We produced and published several videos on the company's YouTube channel, which helped increase the company's visibility. Additionally, by creating videos in English, we can allow the company to reach an audience outside of Japan, expanding its global presence.

I would advise them to apply because some of my best experiences happened here, and I couldn't imagine my trip to Japan without this workplace and the fellow interns I met. Be ready to learn, ask questions, and enjoy the welcoming environment.

What surprised me the most about working here as an intern was the ability to choose what I wanted to learn and work on next. I truly appreciated how they tailored my job to my interests, which greatly enhanced my experience and development.

I was lucky enough to have the chance to participate in a company social event as an intern. The memorable event was the company barbecue, where I enjoyed sharing good food and drinks in a fun environment. This allowed me to get to know some of the company members outside of the work setting. I also had the opportunity to try some fun new foods and make memories, which helped me feel a closer bond with my fellow interns.
