Left ventricular diastolic pressure gradient and outcome in advanced chronic kidney disease patients with preserved ejection fraction
Assessment of left ventricular (LV) diastolic dysfunction is important in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
The purpose of this study was to analyze RPI(Relative pressure imaging)-derived IVPG(intraventricular pressure gradient) in advanced CKD(chronic kidney disease) patients with preserved LV ejection fraction.
The show that at early diastolic flling phase, the decrease of total IVPG and mid to apical IVPGs were found in advanced CKD patients with HFpEF(heart failure with preserved ejection fraction), yet the basal IVPG was preserved.
