Hi everyone, my name is Ryan Yu. 

I’m from California, and during my time in Tokyo, one of the most intriguing things has been gaming. While I played a lot of games in America, I never could have guessed how many arcades there are in Tokyo. 

From the start of my trip, my friends and I have been visiting the arcades and playing a variety of games. We have played rhythm games like Taiko, racing games like Mario Kart, and fighting games like Street Fighter. I never would have expected to be so into arcades, considering there are almost none in the United States. 

Overall, games have helped me relieve stress after work. They enable me to maintain a work-life balance, which is crucial in avoiding burnout. Overall, the arcade has been a pleasant surprise that I did not expect to love.
